Who we are:
North Coast Primary Health Network is an independent, not-for-profit organisation committed to improving the health of North Coast communities. Primarily funded by the Australian Government, we work alongside local health care professionals, social services and hospitals to support our communities and provide solutions for gaps in our local health services.

About the role:
Join our leadership team working with our new Chief Executive Officer, Julie Sturgess. We are seeking an Executive Director to lead the change management process for reform of Mental Health Services on the NSW North Coast to achieve a more effective, integrated and sustainable mental health system. The role will provide transformational regional leadership by shaping a shared vision, creating sense of purpose, and action to effect significant reform.

Your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with key partners through an innovative shared investment approach, and with other stakeholders, to design innovative approaches to improve mental health service delivery. The services will focus on identified client groups in our region and other specific interventions related to stepped care, to alcohol and other drugs and suicide prevention programs.

About you:
You will be passionate about the well-being of the consumer; encouraging innovation and new ideas; creating an environment for the development of new approaches and creative solutions. You will also have:
• An exceptional understanding of the Mental Health Reform agenda and NCPHNs current and future role and initiatives in an environment of ongoing, complex change
• Experience developing strategic, evidence based approaches to reform, promoting a culture of initiative and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated ability to identify contentious issues, direct discussions and steer negotiation to effective resolution

Salary Information:
• Full time position (38 hours per week) for a maximum term up to 30 June 2023.
• Base work location is negotiable (Ballina, Tweed Heads, Coffs Harbour, or Port Macquarie)
• Significant intra-region travel and work outside standard office hours may be a requirement of this role
• Salary will be negotiable, by way of Executive Contract commencing from $165,000 up to $175,000 per annum + super guarantee
• Generous salary packaging opportunities to eligible employees, who are entitled to salary package up to $611.50 per fortnight ($15,899 p.a.) before tax.
