About the opportunity

Provide the necessary care and support to vulnerable adults affected by drug and alcohol abuse. Use your expert skill and knowledge within mental health / drug and alcohol to engage with residents and provide support and education. Use your skills to implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness.

Duties

  • Work within a residential drug and alcohol unit
  • Develop and Implement care programs for clients with a range of complex care needs
  • Provide continuity of care across all areas
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs
  • Record data using the Electric Care Management System (CMS)
  • Ensure compliance with compliance with the funding body

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, and/or Nursing
  • Experience working within a Residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility
  • Experience with Electric Care Management Systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of funding program agreement
  • Awareness of clinical practice models and current research
  • Strong communication interpersonal skills
  • Be responsible for delivering services to patients affected by drug and alcohol abuse
