About the opportunity
Provide the necessary care and support to vulnerable adults affected by drug and alcohol abuse. Use your expert skill and knowledge within mental health / drug and alcohol to engage with residents and provide support and education. Use your skills to implement care plans and evaluate their effectiveness.
Duties
- Work within a residential drug and alcohol unit
- Develop and Implement care programs for clients with a range of complex care needs
- Provide continuity of care across all areas
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs
- Record data using the Electric Care Management System (CMS)
- Ensure compliance with compliance with the funding body
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in either Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, and/or Nursing
- Experience working within a Residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility
- Experience with Electric Care Management Systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of funding program agreement
- Awareness of clinical practice models and current research
- Strong communication interpersonal skills
- Be responsible for delivering services to patients affected by drug and alcohol abuse
