Medical Liaison - Medical Cannabis

About the Role:

We are after passionate individuals who love educating general practitioners, specialists and nurses and have a strong track record of building lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. The role requires you to educate doctors and specialists so existing relationships with these groups would be advantageous. The role will require you to stay on top of current research and have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

 

About you:

You are a highly passionate and established sales professional with an impressive track record for driving new  educational opportunities with key specialists, nurses and general practitioners. You enthusiastically seek out your target market and quickly identify new opportunities and strategies. You build rapport easily with your confidence, enthusiasm and knowledge and nurture important long-term relationships. You love to make a difference, work well autonomously and are excited about the challenges of a newly regulated class of products.

 

Key Tasks:

·         Establish a thorough understanding of medicinal cannabis and associated research, disease states and pharmacology.

·         The ability to successfully manage your own territory

·         Help specialists and general practitioners to understand the availability and access to life-changing healthcare options, with a focus on research on its use specific conditions.

·         Be curious – continue to build on your knowledge.

·         Work well with your team, sharing insights and learning from others' experience.

·         Facilitate presentations with specialists, general practitioners, nurses and other clinicians

·         Actively seek out unique ways to reach your target audience with educational opportunities.

 

Required:

·         Proven experience in the medical/pharmaceutical industry

·         Existing relationships with targeted general practitioners, specialists and nurses

·         A positive attitude and unrelenting determination

·         Impressive interpersonal skills

·         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong customer focus, business acumen and the ability to think outside the box

·         A pharmacy, registered nurse, nurse practitioner or medical doctor qualification, strongly preferred

·         A current driver's license with the ability to travel interstate.
