The Company

Core24 is the Mornington Peninsulas Leading Health Club. With the Platinum facility at Frankston offering the ultimate in Health and Wellness with Salt Therapy, Infrared Sauna, Infrared Mind Body Studio, Reformer Pilates, Mineral Pool and High Altitude Training Room.

Creating a change in people’s lives is our main focus and we are looking for a new team member to help deliver the high standard to the members.

 

The Role

We are looking for a new Full-Time Front Desk/Customer Service person who is dynamic, bubbly and has a passion for the health and wellness industry.

Our Customer Service Officers are the heart of our business providing important services such as Reception and Merchandising. They are the face of the club and create our first impressions.

You must be able to work flexible hours including Mornings, Evenings and Weekends as the role works on a rotating roster, one week am shifts the next week pm shifts. 

 

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone 
  • Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Provide customers inquiring with the correct information
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
  • Promote and exercise good public relations at all times
  • Opening/closing of the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures
  • Must be flexible and able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
  • Must be prepared to work across multiple clubs
  • Must be able to work autonomously in a busy health club
  • Following all the systems and processes within the clubs

 

Skills & Attributes:

  • Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
  • Must be a gun at multi-tasking
  • Computer literacy, familiarity with software packages and point of sale systems
  • Experience in the leisure industry is desirable.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers Licence required

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply!
