UX Designer

Leading client in Macquarie Park is seeking the services of a talented UX Designer to join a well established team and environment. This role will require great stakeholder engagement. You will be required to translate concepts into user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes. Cross platform design experience will be highly desirable. 

  • Identify needs and define the scope with stakeholders. Define personas based on user interviews, focus groups, create user flows.
  • Translate concepts into user journeys, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Plan and conduct user testing with tools and techniques such as user interviews, quantitative research and A/B tests to iterate designs and workflows efficiently and effectively.
  • Regularly and clearly communicate customer feedback, UX processes, test outcomes and design solutions to teams and stakeholders.
  • Make wireframes using tools like Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD.
  • Write optimisation recommendations and iterate designs and workflows.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts.

  • 2-3 years’ experience as a UX designer and analyst
  • Experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wire-frames for complex web applications and/or workflows
  • Experienced in delivering UX solutions for projects of large scope and complexity
  • Experience with UX design for technical end users or domain experts
  • Experienced in performing user research or gathering quantitative customer data
  • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
  • Have cross platform design experience (web, iOS, Android, email)
  • Experience working as part of a software development team using TDD, BDD and Agile practices
  • Implementation experience with an SDLC based on Scrum/Kanban methodologies or other agile practises
