Volunteer and Projects Coordinator

The focus of this role is to coordinate SASI Volunteers and be SASI's Child Protection Officer, Member Protection Information Officer and representative on the ORSR Work Health Safety Committee.

In addition the successful applicant will also be the project lead on multiple projects including the SASI Awards, the Individual Athlete Program application process, annual recruitment and coordination of University placement students and the Emerging Athlete Program.

Special Conditions:

  • A degree in Sports or Business Management will be highly regarded.
  • Current certification of willingness to obtain (a) Senior First Aid and CPR certification; (b) Registered Member Protection Information Officer and (c) Recognised Child Safe Officer within the Sport and Recreation Sector.
  • In addition a current South Australian drivers licence and willingness to drive is essential.
  • Some work outside of normal office hours will be required. This role is identified as a prescribed position.
  • The incumbent is subject to a satisfactory relevant history assessment in line with the Children's Protection Act 1993.
  • Australian citizens, permanent residents and non-Australian citizens are eligible to apply. If you are a visa holder - whether it be temporary, provisional or permanent - it must be valid and permit you to work in Australia.
