NAAJA provides legal aid for Indigenous people, with offices across the Northern Territory. We are considered to be a leading Australian Justice Agency and have received both national and Northern Territory awards for our work.

The Youth in Sports Program is an innovative pilot, aimed at increasing access for young people involved in the Youth Justice system. The program sits within NAAJA’s Throughcare Program, which aims to prevent reoffending by providing culturally relevant intensive pre and post release services for Aboriginal young people and adults.

NAAJA is seeking a:

Youth Sports Access Co-ordinator

to join our Throughcare team. The right candidate will have:

  • A passion for sport and for improved access for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
  • Experience in project establishment / development
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people (young people, sporting
clubs, potential mentors, stakeholders)
