Lead Administration Officer - Sydney

One in three Australians will need blood in their lifetime. At the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, we’re entrusted with collecting, processing and delivering this vital supply. We also provide a range of other services to the healthcare sector related to transplantation and immunogenetics, testing, consulting, education and research. You will be leading a professional and motivated team, responsible for  contributing to the delivery and maintenance of efficient and effective administrative service provision to enhance the value proposition of Medical Services. Your challenge is to lead a team of administrators in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet the organisational goals of the Blood Service.  

You will have:

• Demonstrated experience in providing high level office co-ordination
• Proven experience in leading a team to deliver outcomes
• Demonstrated experience in implementing change to administrative procedures and systems
• Competence in a range of MS Office products (eg Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) and email/Internet; ability to learn and attain competence in other software applications

You will also be:

• Able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative working style
• Great with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and multi task
• Committed to a high level of customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced working in a highly regulated healthcare sector (desirable)
