SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST - 12 month Maternity Leave Placement
 
38 Hours per week term time plus 1 week each term break

The role of the School Psychologist at St Lucy’s School is to support the students of the school through the provision of; therapeutic intervention, support to the families and staff of the school and psychometric assessments.

The School Psychologist liaises with external Psychologists working with St Lucy’s students.  This position reports to the Deputy Principal. 

The School Psychologist is required to be a tertiary qualified, registered Psychologist, demonstrating current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). It is preferable that the School Psychologist is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). 

Key skills: the ability to conduct cognitive and educational assessments, and desirable to be trained in autism diagnostic assessments.
