Assistant Financial Accountant
The Role 
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
  • Monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process
  • Preparation and processing of adjusting journals
  • General ledger maintenance and trial balance
  • Assistance with effective cash flow management
  • Quarterly statutory reporting (BAS)
  • Fixed asset register maintenance
  • Assistance with payroll function
  • Work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the team
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for this role will be tertiary qualified in an accounting/business discipline, and have 2 - 3 years practical experience in a similar role.

You will possess a strong work ethic, be enthusiastic and thrive in a team environment. You will have either begun or have aspirations to complete your CA/CPA. You will be goal orientated, enjoy a challenge and have an eagerness to learn new tasks. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential. Study support and guidance will be provided.
