A exciting, newly created opportunity, for a strategy manager to join a talented internal group strategy function. The company is global with over 80 offices and revenues in the billions.

Role

The role has lot’s of visibility to the Australian CSO, CTO, COO and CEO and is tasked with executing the 5 year corporate strategy of the organisation. You’re key to the success of several business units execution of their strategy including M&A, Corporate Development, New Ventures, Partnerships and Investments. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Shaping and developing corporate strategies and implementation plans
  • Demonstrating exceptional quantitative, analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Leading and inspiring diverse project teams to deliver high quality outcomes; demonstrating accountability & ownership
  • Managing and influencing senior stakeholders working at executive levels including Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Managing and developing the capabilities of junior staff members
  • Apply the organisations global capabilities (e.g. Design, Digital, Data Analytics, Access Economics, Technology), frameworks & methodologies, and contribute new thinking

About You

You are somebody who has several years consulting experience either from tier 1 or 2 management consultancies, boutique strategy consulting firms, strategy practices within the Big 4, or an internal strategy function of a large corporate.

You will also have:

  • Project experience across Corporate strategy development and execution planning
  • Strong consulting fundamentals including strategic problem solving, analytics and excel modelling, structured communication
  • A strong sense of ownership, accountability and drive to deliver quality outcomes
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior management on your own
