Townsville Community Legal Service seeks to employ a full-time (35 hours per week) solicitor for our Flood Legal Assistance Service.

The successful applicant will provide legal assistance services across most issues relevant to the legal needs of people experiencing the 2019 Townsville flooding event. This is likely to include areas of law including insurance, employment, tenancy, social security, consumer protection, personal and real property (including securities held over property), credit and debt, and insolvency.

This is a 12 month fixed-term appointment that is expected to conclude by 28 February 2020.
