What you'll be doing

This position manages medico legal and GIPA matters related to JH&FMHN.

  1. Possess and maintain a current legal practicing certificate
  2. Demonstrated contemporary knowledge and experience in the implementation of health policy/legislation and other criminal justice related legislation
  3. Demonstrated extensive experience in policy development and review, legislation review, and giving legal advice
  4. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with staff at senior levels and external stakeholders
  5. Demonstrated excellent written communication skills to prepare, review and edit correspondence, briefings, reports, policies, papers and proposals
  6. Demonstrated excellent conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately
  7. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines and organise high volumes of workload
  8. Demonstrated understanding of integrity, responsibility and personal accountability and confidentiality
