We are currently looking for an Associate Analyst to join our Food & Agribusiness Research division on a full-time permanent basis.  Located in our Sydney Head Office, you will be reporting to the General Manager of the RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness team with the primary responsibility of the role supporting Senior Grains & Oilseeds Analyst and Senior Livestock Analyst.

As an Associate Analyst, you will be responsible for undertaking high quality research and analysis of the target sector, and support research and analysis across food and agribusiness, for use by both internal and external stakeholders to add value to the food and Agri supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Undergraduate Degree in a discipline with application in food & agribusiness, agriculture, agricultural economics, food science, commerce or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years work experience in a related professional role
  • A solid appreciation for Australian broadcare and extensive livestock production with direct exposure to one or more sectors (preferably wool or grains)
  • Great quantitative analysis skills
  • Ability to be a team player who is committed to working with Senior Analysts
  • Well-developed writing skills

In this role, you will be required to support the Grains & Oilseeds and Livestock Senior Analysts in preparing and presenting research at all relevant rural and wholesale events. You will participate in strategic analysis of market trends to form a view and publish reports on behalf of Rabobank as a representative of Food & Agribusiness Research & Advisory.

This role is a diverse role and requires someone with a strong sense of accountability who can work within a fast paced, dynamic department and who is capable of original thought.

How do people describe you? You have excellent presentation, research and analytical skills and have a passion for results. You enjoy working as a team but also flourish individually. With a passion for quality and great attitude to work, you'll fit in nicely with our culture.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of this team. If this sounds like you, apply today!

Rabobank is committed to a culture where diversity and inclusion is valued, respected and encouraged. We welcome applicants from diverse cultures, faith and sexual orientation.
