About the position...

The Devonport & Launceston teams pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality service to all customers. Our Devonport store has two fully equipped test rooms and see a high number of patients 40+ meaning they see a lot of age-related disease, diabetes and keratoconus. The Devonport team are friendly and hardworking, with a therapeutically endorsed Optometry mentor who has experience successfully coaching and mentoring Graduates. With a direct, easy 50 minute flight to Melbourne this store has a lot to offer including a 3 week on, 1 week off roster.

Our Launceston store has five test rooms, and see's a varied demographic of patients including a higher than average number of complex contact lens wearers, meaning the store has a strong interest in speciality contact lens fitting including Orthokeratology, myopia control and glaucoma co management. This store has a supportive culture with over 50 years of Optometry experience between the mentors. They are supportive of any clinical areas of interest and are flexible with rosters.

Both stores have access to cutting edge technology, with Launceston boasting an OCT, and Devonport due to have an OCT installed at the end of this year
