Qualified Chef

The Bonnyview Tavern has been a landmark in it's local area since 1935. Our Hotel has something for everyone....whether you want a meal in our bistro (while the kids enjoy our play area), a cold beverage in one of our bars or a punt on our pokies. We've got it all!

We are looking for a suitably qualified Sous Chef to join our fantastic team.  The successful applicant will have a commercial cookery qualification and Food Safety accreditation, is a great team player and has recent experience in a similar role.

What do I need to have?

We are on the lookout for a team player who is willing to work with both the front of house and kitchen team to deliver top quality food in our Hotel. We challenge traditional pecking orders as we seek Chefs that inspire, collaborate and contribute to an open, honest and comfortable workplace.

You will be:

  • Trade qualified: Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • The job will involve Ordering, Stocktakes and Audit requirements.
  • Qualifed Chef required to work a classic Hotel Menu, Functions and Ubereats.
  • Flexibility as you will work rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness,  food safety and compliance procedures.
  • A current Food Safety Certificate
