About us

At Gowrie Victoria (GV) we are committed to high quality Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC).  We run sector recognised programs for children, and develop the sector's capability through our Adult Learning programs.  We provide education and care for over 800 children and their families at our children's programs in Clare Court (Yarraville), Docklands, Broadmeadows and Carlton North.

About the role

We are currently recruiting for two full time educators (Cert III and Diploma) for our Yarraville service. 

We expect all our educators to:

  • Understand and role model Gowrie Victoria's purpose, values, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of high quality educational and care programs
  • Provide accurate written documentation that supports practice and compliance requirements
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues and the broader community

About you

We are looking for an exceptional ECEC professional who:

For this role we also expect you will have:

  • A Certificate III or Diploma qualification or equivalent as approved by ACECQA
  • Knowledge and practical understanding of the NQF, EYLF and VEYLDF
  • Ability to implement programs that are inclusive and respond to the interests, strengths and learning needs of  individual children
  • Ability to critically reflect on your practice
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team
  • Effective communication skills
