As a community partner Community First Step work with the community, business and government, to strive for excellence in meeting the holistic needs of our clients through the provision of high quality supportive, recreational, cultural, sporting and welfare programs.
Our disability Services are currently being transformed, responding to NDIS and prioritising person-centred models of care. As part of an ongoing commitment to providing client centred care, we have initiated a targeted recruitment drive for motivated male Disability Support Workers to join our passionate Disability team.
Disability Support Worker (Part-Time/Casual)
As a CFS Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible to work as part of a motivated team to deliver needs-based services within a person-centred framework, maximising the capacity of individuals living with a disability. A focus on community inclusion, independence, decision making and personal choice are promoted to ensure individual client needs are met.
To be considered for this role, you will have relevant qualifications in Disability, Mental Health or Welfare, or working towards same; a current First Aid Certificate, CPR certification, unrestricted Driver’s License, valid Working with Children’s Check and a National Police Clearance issued within last 12 months.
