Training and Development Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join this well-known Melbourne institution as a part of their learning and development team. This opportunity will suit candidates with an interest, qualifications or experience in management, event management or training and development.  The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs that encourage, maintain and strengthen the capability of the service and its employees.

 

To be successful for this role you must have;

  • A certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • High level administrative skills and experience with Microsoft Office; Word and Excel
  • A demonstrated understanding of competency-based learning and development business practices
  • Proven ability to manage numerous, varied and concurrent projects within budget, quality and time parameters
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely outcome and a high level of service provision
  • demonstrated experience working autonomously as an effective member of a team

 

Your responsibilities would include;

  • Coordinating and scheduling training and assessment tasks
  • Coordinating and preparing training materials
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing reports on training activities and course delivery performance measures
  • Maintaining inventory of training resources
  • Supporting the Lead Learning and Development Coordinator
