Medical Representative

120. That’s the number of General Practitioners the role will target in the designated territory. As part of Novartis’ Pharmaceutical Business, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in more people’s lives.

Your Responsibilities:

Your role will represent Novartis and promote its products to Medical Practitioners and allied health care professionals within a designated territory to achieve sales targets.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsibility for maximising sales of designated company products in the assigned territory, this will be achieved through full coverage of target customers
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations in order to change prescribing habits in line with appropriate use of products
  • Consistent with customer expectations of quality of service and personal interaction
  •  Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, company developments, customers, and competitors
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all territory reports, maintenance of territory records, handling of enquiries and complaints quickly and professionally and in accordance with company procedures
  • Contribute positively to the Sales and Marketing team through co-operative relationships and collaborative efforts to achieve team and company objectives
  •  Ensure the prompt reporting of adverse events to the CS&E department in accordance with company procedures

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Good sales experience with an exposure to the territory will be highly desirable
  • Tertiary qualifications in related field / para medical background will be great to have
  • You will come with a positive mind set, a great team player with solid communication skills to develop relationships
