Project Supervisor

The Position

Serco successfully manages the entire City of Melbourne open space area through two dynamic contracts. Forming a critical part of this team, we are now seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to represent the business by driving development projects and sales across the City.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervise subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget
  • Ensure City of Melbourne Standards are being adhered to
  • Develop scope of works from a job brief for landscaping, irrigation and horticulture projects
  • Manage Third Party works within the City of Melbourne parks and gardens
  • Overseeing works from construction to Commissioning for City of Melbourne Project Team
  • Liaise with staff within the City of Melbourne to determine project outcomes
  • Ensure all OHS&E, Environmental and Quality Assurance issues are achieved

About You

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
  • Tertiary Qualification in Project or Landscape Management/Construction or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, objectives and deadlines simultaneously
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and working environments
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering playground and sportsfield projects
  • Commitment to the processes of continuous improvement
  • Work with other team members and business units to achieve targets and budgets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strong relationships
  • Current manual drivers’ license
