Supply Chain Officer

The Opportunity

Our Supply Chain team based in Gordon, requires an enthusiastic, person who has the ability to multitask, to join the team. As a Supply Chain Officer, you will have a varied role supporting the Procurement Manager & the Customer Centre team in administration and customer service for both internal, external customers & suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing movement of RWT stock in and out of CSCs and third-party depots
  • Issuing releases and acceptances for one-way repositioning
  • Recording stock movements timely and accurately into Navision
  • Ensuring high levels of data discipline and accuracy are maintained in RWT systems
  • Assisting in stock distribution
  • Generating TPOs and co-ordinating transportation via road and rail
  • Assisting in the purchasing administration
  • Providing a high level of customer service

About you:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in logistics, administration and/or customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • The ability to be part of a team yet work alone when required
  • A strong commitment to process and product knowledge
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude

The position is paid a salary package and comes with the opportunity to earn a bonus on an annual basis.
