Boathouse Fishbar, located in the Port of Airlie Marina is looking for an experience Head Chef to set a new benchmark within a trendy restaurant. Delivering great quality food and innovative dishes, that makes this a great place to dine.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the kitchen, Educating staff on good food preparation, customer service and hygiene standards in line with HACCP standards.
- You will be required to manage the restaurant kitchen financials from food cost, kitchen labour cost and profitability and build strong relationships with suppliers and guests.
Driving guest loyalty with fresh, innovative, food offerings will be the success of your role.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
A Food safety certificate, driver's license, a friendly customer focused attitude and good food knowledge with a minimum of 2 years’ previous experience within a busy restaurant setting as a Head chef. Good knowledge of seafood, crustacean preparation and leadership skills will be highly regarded. Essential to this role is the ability to work Weekdays, Weekend and Public Holidays.
