Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort - 2019 Snow season!

We have 2 Full-time Seasonal Snow Grooming positions to fill.

If you love the outdoors and working with a positive, hard working team then come and join us at Mt Baw Baw!  Some benefits include:

You will have strong client focus and innovative snow management, surface preparation, Terrain Park operations and machinery operation skills. You will be driving heavy equipment, ensuring that the snow condition is maximised to retain the depth of snow required in the snowfields and to ensure that guests are able to ski/board to their maximum potential. You will work within a team environment and have a proactive and hands on approach as they respond to the needs of Resort Management, Manager – Mountain Operations, operational staff and the Resort community.

All roles are required to have flexibility with working in other departments, depending on skills. Flexibility to work weekends is a requirement.

This role will require night shift availability!

What we need from you: 

  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Experience in use of heavy machinery
  • Willingness to learn Snow Grooming as a profession
  • Night shift availability
  • Must be physically fit
  • Value and understand the importance of safety in the workplace
  • Willing to work long hours in inclement weather
  • Be willing to extend to further duties to ensure seamless delivery of customer experience
  • Experience in a customer service facing role
  • Positive and supportive attitude
  • Previous alpine industry experience is advantageous but not necessary

  • Competitive rate, dependent on experience and skills. The rate will be as per the SARMB EA 2018, Band 3; between $24.52p/h & $36.59p/h.
