Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort - 2019 Snow season!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

We have 1 Full-time & 2 Part-time Seasonal Ski Patrol positions to fill.

If you love the outdoors and working with a positive, hard working team then come and join us at Mt Baw Baw!  Some benefits include:

You will be responsible for ongoing Risk Management of the ski area and toboggan slopes. Ensuring that the runs are safe and that our customers engage in responsible behaviour when involved in snow activities (toboggan, cross country and downhill trails). You will be the first line call for injured guests and you are required to stablise and maintain any injuries for extended periods of time or until professional assistance arrives. You will be able to work effectively with a team of both paid and volunteer Ski Patrollers and assist Resort Management with risk assessment where required.

All roles are required to have flexibility with working in other departments, depending on skills. Flexibility to work weekends is a requirement.

This role will require night shift availability!

What we need from you: 

  • Successful completion of ASPA Advanced Emergency Care qualifications in First Aid (or equivalent)
  • Must be physically fit
  • Value and understand the importance of safety in the workplace
  • Willing to work long hours in inclement weather
  • Be willing to extend to further duties to ensure seamless delivery of customer experience
  • Experience in a customer service facing role
  • Positive and supportive attitude
  • Previous alpine industry experience is advantageous but not necessary

  • Competitive rate, dependent on experience and skills. The rate will be as per the SARMB EA 2018, Band 3; between $22.22p/h & $29.27p/h.
