Customer Care Representative

Merlo Coffee is looking for a customer service superstar to join our Customer Care team at Head Office. So if you have an aptitude for admin and smooth phone skills, we want to hear from you!

This role acts as the first point of contact in assisting our Wholesale Customers, Friends of Merlo, Stores, and the public, for both phone and in-person visits. So a bright, helpful, professional manner is a must! You will need to be confident turning your hand to any administration task and can work autonomously when required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering and transferring inbound phone calls from all channels of the business;
  • Assisting the Accounts department with customer accounts;
  • Providing the Sales team with administrative support;
  • Receiving incoming mail and placing outgoing mail;
  • Taking and processing phone orders from both Retail and Wholesale customers;
  • Data entry and various other administrative support duties.

To ensure your success in this role you will have:

  • 1-3 years previous administration experience;
  • A professional phone manner;
  • Monday to Friday availability - that's right, no weekend work! 
  • The ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines;
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook;
  • An outgoing personality coupled with great initiative;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
