Account Manager on Business Development trajectory - Eco Outdoor Sydney

Have you got a great job? Maybe you landed it a few years ago and thought it would be awesome. Maybe it was awesome but now you’re looking for something more. Maybe they don’t get cake on your birthday anymore or maybe those achievable sales targets are still out of reach, even with a Cuban heel. So now you’ve got one eye open for something a little better. You’re ambitious. You know you’re good and it’s not just about the money. You want fame. And cake on birthdays.

If this sounds like you and you’re looking for a really ambitious sales role, come talk to us. We're looking for someone for our team in Sydney, based out of our Waterloo showroom. All you need to do is send us your resume and a photo of you with your local kebab shop owner and we’ll be in touch. No questions asked. No but seriously, send us a hello. We’re looking for people just like you. We’re currently really into triathlons, so triathletes would have an added advantage. Can we say that?

Eco Outdoor is a transformative outdoor design brand with a big ambition: to be the best natural stone design partner for every architect in the city. Period. And we’re looking for superstars. We have a newly created opportunity available for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our Sydney team as an Account Manager supporting one of our Business Development reps, based in our Waterloo Designer Showroom.

We’re not really interested in a run-of-the-mill sales rep, so if that’s you, stop reading now. We want people who are passionate, innovative and seeking to be at the top of their game. When we talk about sales, we want someone who will drive to be a product and relationship expert. Someone who wants to grow a career with us. Someone who will push us to give them new opportunities for advancement, additional responsibilities and a load of learning and development along the way. Sounding more like you?

The candidate we’re looking for will have:-

  • Previous experience in sales, with the ability to drive sales, strengthen and further develop our existing client relationships
  • Experience within a design-related field preferred
  • A natural interest and flair for design and architecture
  • Understanding of and ability to work with architects and designers – relational aptitude is super important
  • A consultative and solutions-based approach to sales ('hard sell' enthusiasts need not apply)
  • An interest in working in a close-knit yet dynamic team in a designer space

What’s in it for you?

We are a culture of yes. People are the most important asset we have in our business. You spend more time at work than you do at home, so we want to make sure you feel supported, challenged and excited to be here.

Employee learning & development and health & wellness underpin our employee programs; we’re big believers in ‘growing our own’ and we’ll make sure you get what you need to have the career you want with us. We also should mention that we don’t do commission-only roles. We’ve been doing this for 18 years and we know the only way to get great staff is to pay them well and back that up with a competitive bonus structure, a great company culture that drives you to grow and succeed in your career.

Want to talk more? Apply now or say hello via our careers page – if you want more information before you apply, check out our site [https://www.ecooutdoor.com.au] or stalk us on LinkedIn. There's a bunch of stuff there that'll give you an idea of what we're about.

Recruitment agencies -  No thanks. We've got this one covered!

Please note we require full working rights for this position
