Research Physician / Medical Officer

The Role:

As a Research Physician with Linear, you will play a critical role in the safe delivery of all our clinical trials. Your expertise and professionalism is highly valued as you provide medical care to all participants to ensure their safety and wellbeing during the course of the study. You will acquire knowledge of protocols across various studies and be able to apply this knowledge ‘hands-on’. The Research Physician will contribute significantly to the recruitment and screening of volunteers and have direct involvement of each clinical trial from start to finish.

The successful candidate will be driven by their interest medical research and their desire to be a part of Linear’s exponential growth.  Although there may be a requirement to be on-call and available out of hours and over the weekend, you will work as a part of a collaborative team and be afforded the flexibility to maintain a comfortable work-life balance.

To succeed in this position, you will need to thrive on a challenge and be able to work across multiple studies on any given day. You will also present with the following skills/attributes:

 

  • Current Medical Practitioner registration with AHPRA
  • Proven experience working in hospital and/or clinical research setting
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and a meticulous attention to detail (recording participant information and data)
  • Proven ability to work within guidelines, protocols and structure
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with participants, sponsors and other key internal and external stakeholders.
