The position:
 
Our Whyalla Branch has a vacancy for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter to be responsible for general mechanical maintenance, repairs and services to conveyor systems and components.
 
Requirements:
 
  • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter;
  • Minimum 5+ years’ mechanical fitting experience;
  • Commitment to safety with and a focus on quality;
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Current/valid Fork lift ticket and Driver’s Licence;
  • Ability to work on-call and overtime; and
  • Basic Dogging or Rigging ticket – desirable.
