WTC is experiencing significant sales growth and this, combined with long-term sales cycles, has resulted in a need for an additional person to join our high-performing sales team.  We are seeking a person with solid technical sales experience in a high value product environment with the desire to be mentored to enhance and refine their sales techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop timely and accurate proposals across various sectors (Utility , Renewable Energy , Mining etc)
  • Fostering new business relationship and managing existing customer tender requirements.
  • Engage with commercial and technical stakeholders to deliver successful tender outcomes.
  • Work closely with the sales and business development team to manage pipeline.
  • Participate in technical solution marketing in Industry events as required.
  •  Participate in pre-tender site visits as required.
  •  Work collaboratively across numerous departments including engineering, production, customer delivery and Field services.

The successful candidate will bring the following attributes:

  • Relevant technical and tertiary qualifications coupled with commercial understanding
  • Previous experience with preparation of tenders and bid management is essential  
  • Experience in power industry, preferably substation products, including transformers, switchgears, cables and etc.
  • 2+ years’ experience engaging with customers and generating sales for technical solutions
  • Organizational skills as well as attention to detail essential
  • Excellent time management & communication skills 
  • Proficient computer skills
