Sustainability, Compliance & Risk Manager - Retail Facilities

What this job involves

Working as part of the portfolio leadership team, your key focus will be on risk management, compliance, sustainability, and risk management.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Provide strategic advice with regards to operational matters relating to risk, compliance & sustainability. 
  • Develop, maintain and review a Compliance Plan which is to include a list of compliance requirements
  • Assume the sustainability lead for all JLL managed assets and provide technical expertise to proactively support the client.
  • Ensure that agreement is met on benchmarking against Rating Programs (NABERS energy, water – waste and Indoor Environment) and ensure the ratings are managed and coordinated across the portfolio
  • Identify and analyse the merits of projects for potential application within nominated properties within the portfolio
  • Participate in relevant industry sustainability groups, and forums to ensure that JLL and our clients are viewed as sustainability leaders.

You’ll possess exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, and qualifications in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field is desirable. You will have existing buildings experience, particularly within the context of Facilities Management with a strong preference for building services, NABERS ratings, and building upgrades.

You will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building and maintaining client relationships and possess excellent communication skills and have a strong customer service focus.
