Bullivants is one of Australia’s leading lifting equipment and height safety specialists. Our people, products, services, facilities and systems are uniquely focused on providing expert safety and load management solutions for our customers and right now, we are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our Unanderra team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales within an allocated territory / customer base through sound strategic planning and sales excellence to achieve the budgeted sales and sales growth strategy within agreed timeframes, always ensuring customer needs and expectations are exceeded. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • Actively seeking new customer opportunities in the local area with formalised call cycles
  • Actively promoting Bullivants product and services in the local environment
  • Work collaboratively with the overall business to mutually grow profitable sales
  • Working with Customer Service Officers to ensure that local customers are receiving optimal service
  • Demonstrate local Safety leadership, and ensure all maintain the highest safety standards, with appropriate notifications of HSE incidents and complete HSE incident reports in a timely manner

As the successful applicant, you will demonstrate:

  • Solid sales experience and business acumen coupled with strong knowledge within industrial and/or construction markets.
  • Exposure to a client base within lifting and rigging – preferred
  • Exceptional time management and organisation skills as well as an ability to communicate effectively with customers both internally and externally.
  • Results driven focus by pro-actively seeking out new opportunities to develop your business portfolio whilst working towards targets and deadlines.
