IT Support Officer- Parramatta

What’s your ambition? Is it a big goal or small steps? Professional or personal? We’d like to know, because we make your ambitions our business.

If you’re looking to step up your career, JLL is the perfect professional home. At JLL, you’ll have a chance to innovate with the world’s leading businesses, put that expertise into action on landmark projects, and work on game-changing real estate initiatives.

What this opportunity involves:

JLL’s IT Division provides access to information technology (IT) services for all business units across JLL Australia. Located in each of our main corporate offices, the Deskside Support Officers provide a range of hands on and remote deskside IT Services. The position is a highly customer focused role and will be required to manage priorities, resolve issues and ensure that IT runs smoothly in each office.

A snapshot of the role:

  • Participating in exciting IT projects
  • Helping JLL staff to access and effectively utilize IT services and equipment
  • Assist in developing desktop and infrastructure services, incident and problem resolution activities
  • Working with JLL service providers and vendors to ensure end to end delivery of services

Sound like the job you are looking for? Before you apply it’s also worth knowing what we are looking for:

You will have IT related qualifications and experience in a similar role, in a Microsoft Desktop environment (Property industry experience will also be highly favourable). You are able to quickly obtain an in-depth understanding of IT support processes and hold solid analytical and communication skills with a high attention to detail. In addition, you will have superior customer service skills and be able to build strong working relationships with a diverse client base. You will need to be an effective team player and be comfortable working in a corporate work environment. It is essential that you are capable of working and providing a high-level of output under challenging operational conditions.

On occasion, the nature of this position will mean that hours will not necessarily be standard office hours.  From time to time as incidents or planned outages occur, it may be necessary to conduct out of hours testing to ensure service to the end users.  This will typically be planned, but the nature of IT is such that when incidents occur, it is expected that the IT team will be in a position to respond and support the business.

What you can expect from us:

You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture. One where we succeed together – across the desk and around the globe. Where like-minded people work naturally together to achieve great things. Keep those ambitions in sights and imagine where JLL can take you...

JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce. We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders applications and enquiries.
