The opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you will be our Finance Officer all-rounder – responsible for coordinating the delivery of our accounts payable and receivable functions, providing financial clerical and administrative services and various month end reporting requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to utilise accounts payable and receivable experience.  You’ll also have full exposure to development opportunities within the finance team. 

You’ll be helping our rapidly growing businesses build a finance team capable of delivering strong financial processes and systems.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day coordination of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Data entry of accounting information
  • Provide end of month reconciliations and reporting
  • Managing banking & other financial activities

About you

You are an experienced finance officer comfortable working in both accounts payable and receivable.

You also have the following skills and abilities:

  • Excellent numerical
  • Microsoft Office suite (including intermediate to advanced Excel)
  • Well-developed IT, business and analytical skills
  • A can-do attitude
  • Broad understanding of office procedures
  • The ability to build strong effective relationships     
  • Communicate clearly and effectively – verbally and in writing

Previous finance work experience within energy retailers, distributors or regulators, will be highly regarded, however not essential.
