Sales Representative

We are helping a trusted Client to find a new Sales Representative to join their Central Coast based team. You will be responsible for working across the Sydney Metro and Regional NSW Territory that requires a motivated and confident Sales Rep to establish effective relationships with their existing customer base and continue to drive new sales and business development.

You will report directly to the General Manager and will be integral to facilitating the continued growth and success of their well-established company based in FMCG.

Not only will you be driving increased revenue, but you will be responsible for bringing on board new ideas and maintaining the company’s focus on growth and being active in the various market places.

Your responsibilities:

  • Drive increased revenue across new and existing products, through well-established client relationships
  • Travel to your own Customer base updating them on new and existing products, keeping up to date with existing products and market trends
  • Provide a first point of contact for your client portfolio on all sales and product related queries
  • Work towards the sales team performance plans and KPIs’;
  • Communicate effectively with transparency and accountability to Sales team and General Manager.
  • Give product recommendations where appropriate and work with Marketing to ensure effective delivery of product campaigns for new and existing products
  • Proactively search the market to increase sales and customer base
  • Strategically plan runs, customer engagement and target products per customer to continuously grow current business for each individual customer.
  • Up-selling and cross-selling and Cold Calling customers to grow customer base

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Degree and/or Tertiary Qualification in Business Related Discipline (Ideal)
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a Sales Representative or Territory Manager role (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience working with a range of customers and stakeholders
  • Proven experience successfully driving revenue and increasing sales
  • A full NSW Drivers Licence
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills are essential for this role
  • Strong experience working with the full MS Office Suite including Excel
  • Experience selling FMCG, Food or Packaging ideal

Please note this role will involve some travel and time away from home (at least 1 week a month) but will include a car, phone and laptop.
