The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Monthly financial reporting
  • Performing all bank reconciliations
  • Assist the external auditors when required
  • Preparation of all payments such as staff reimbursements, and petty cash
  • Management of Accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
  • Help develop and implement best practice financial policies and procedures ensuring they align with group policy
  • Maintain open communication and ensure active collaboration across stakeholder groups
Skills and Experience 
  • Tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree
  • Aspirations to completed or be part way through your CA/CPA
  • 2-5 years professional accounting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting standards
  • Proficient experience using MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, etc)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail are essential
