This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Is NEW for you? 

Reporting to the Senior University Compliance Officer, you will work within the Assurance Services team, providing advice and guidance including assisting with investigations and managing complaints. In addition, you will:

  • Assist in the investigation and management of complaints and complaint outcomes;
  • Work with  Complaints, Internal Audit and Risk to assist in the conduct and reporting of the conduct of investigations, management review request or other special assignments;
  • Prepare and interpret key statistical information for the Complaints and Compliance, Internal Audit and Insurance teams; and
  • Assist Compliance in obtaining information to support regulatory compliance in areas such as GIPA and Public Interest Disclosures.

About you 

Ideally, you will have experience in Risk, Auditing, Compliance or Policy related field. In addition, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and networking skills;
  • Be familiar with or able to quickly understand Technology One, NUSTAR, Ascender, CAATs and TRIM, along with a high level of proficiency with standard software and systems including MS Office;
  • Proven analytical and problem identification skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and prioritse.

The remuneration is from $67,185 base + 9.5% super and is commensurate with experience.
