Executive Assistant

Pon Australia is a subsidiary of Pon, which is a global entity with a diverse portfolio of companies. Pon Australia manages a variety of valve businesses with a presence throughout Australia and overseas locations and has steadily grown its operations throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth in the business, Pon Australia is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant who will be reporting to the CEO-Pon Australia.

Job responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to showcase Pon Values (Trust to act, Passion to perform, Make it fun, Passion to perform).
  • Providing the full suite of administrative services including extensive and complex calendar and travel management, contact management, arranging meetings, booking appointments and conference calls and processing invoices.
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of the CEO-Pon Australia.
  • Liaising with multiple senior stakeholders domestically and globally to ensure seamless communication flow to and from the office.
  • Handling confidential reports and information.
  • Screen telephone calls and provide appropriate responses.
  • Organise ad hoc events as necessary, e.g. management workshops, customer meetings.

 Background and Experience:

  • Substantial experience in a Senior Executive Assistant role.
  • Experience with domestic and international travel management
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Well spoken with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of commitment and results driven.
  • Well presented, highly organized and task focused combined with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability in building strong working relationships with a discerning and diplomatic approach.
  • Sound attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite encompassing Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong numeracy skills with an ability to understand basic financial documents.
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to troubleshoot problems with devices such as smart phones, laptops and tablets.
