The role
The role of the Territory Customer Development Manager is a critical part of our Sales and Marketing team.  This role will help us grown and maintain our relationships with our customers in the Petcare Specialist channel.  Using your training expertise, you will conduct regular product training for both our customers and staff and identify new opportunities for our brand.
This position involves regular travel within your assigned territory based in Brisbane area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing, growing and maintaining relationships with customers in the Petcare Specialist channel.
  • Conduct regular customer and staff product training sessions on brand portfolio.
  • Deliver sales strategies to meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Educate customers on insights and category data to achieve maximum results.
  • Contribute to weekly sales reports and feedback sessions.
  • Work with our team of dedicated professionals to drive growth and future opportunities.
  • Manage and identify new opportunities for our brands.
  • Attend trade events and store open days to promote our brands.
Skills, knowledge and experience requirements:
  • Proven experience in account management of key retail accounts.
  • Experience in servicing customers in the pet and veterinary industry is highly regarded.
  • Genuine interest in pet health and nutrition.
  • Ability to sell, negotiation and influence.
  • Passionate about pets and a knowledge surrounding nutrition.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to engage the customer.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of highly engaged team.
  • High attention to detail surrounding retail execution.
  • Honest, reliable with a passion for future development.
  • A current driving license is essential to have and maintain.
