Our award-winning Alcohol team are experiencing exponential growth! With a winning domestic and global beer and Cider portfolio, we have a dedicated team that is agile, creative and focused on working with our customers and consumers to spread the passion for our quality beer and cider portfolio.

We currently have an opportunity for a Molson Coors Beer Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria.

The Role

As a Molson Coors Activation Specialist, you will focus on the Molson Coors globally acclaimed International Portfolio, working with customers and the wider generalist sales teams to lead all aspects of brand awareness and in trade execution for Molson Coors products. Your key objectives will be to drive distribution, execution, and volume growth of Molson Coors Brands across the state. 

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Being the state focal point of all beer and cider related education and training for both our customers and internal sales teams
  • Drive sales of the portfolio via consumer events, trade training and internal sales staff assistance
  • Execution of overall portfolio – jointly responsible for hitting budgeted execution and budget targets; ensuring all marketing activity is executed in full and in correct outlets.
  • Host and lead key portfolio related state events

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working within sales or account management experience with a record of accomplishment in growing business
  • Understanding of the beverage industry- knowledge of international beer, craft beer & cider highly regarded or exposure to the FMCG industry or hospitality would be highly regarded
  • The ability to connect with customers, understand their needs and sell them the right solution to grow their business
  • Strong negotiation, influencing ability and attention to detail
  • Commercial acumen – understanding of how brands contribute to financial growth
  • Strong time management, ability to plan, prioritise and organise events
  • Flexibility is necessary, ability to travel and work outside of core business hours is essential for this role. (Attending events, conducting training/ tasting sessions etc.)
