We are looking for experienced, casual Medical Receptionists ideally with prior experience in a medical setting for our busy mental health  practice located in Surry Hills, Sydney.

-April 2019 start

-Sydney CBD locations

-Supportive and friendly team

-2-3 shifts per/week (occasional weekend work available)

-This position would be suitable for a psychology student.

About our Practice.
We are a busy private mental health practice in  Sydney CBD. Our psychologists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, mental health nurse and occupational therapists work with both adolescents and adults presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.

About the role.

This is a challenging role that involves:

-Managing busy front desk reception areas  which involves welcoming clients, answering phone calls and emails; booking follow-up appointments and taking payments.

-Supporting our clinical staff by assisting with appointment bookings, billing procedures and general administrative tasks.

-General administration duties as required.

About you.

We are looking for team players who are enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and meet the following criteria:

-Prior administration/reception experience is essential.

-Previous experience in an administration position in a medical or mental health setting is highly desired.

-Ability to be compassionate, empathetic and professional when interacting with clients over the phone and in person.

-Professional and personable telephone manner.

-Proficient computer skills.

-High standards of personal presentation.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills.

-Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Demonstrated ability to function competently and calmly in a busy environment that requires excellent time management skills and multi-tasking ability.

-Availability on Monday/Wednesday/Friday essential
