Now in our fourth decade of operation and commitment to the communities we serve, Queensland X-Ray continues to grow from strength to strength.

Applications are invited to join our Nuclear Medicine team in Cairns. Consideration will be given to both experienced technologists and new graduates who have completed a PDY or 4 year university degree.

Our Nuclear Medicine department is located within Cairns Private Hospital and is located alongside X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, Mammography, BMD and MRI. You will be working in a fully comprehensive Nuclear Medicine Department operating a Siemens Intevo SPECT/CT and a Siemens Ecam. A diverse range of Nuclear Medicine studies are performed catering to both public and private patients, with a high volume of bone scan, cardiac and endocrine imaging.
  
With a population in excess of 140,000, Cairns is a beautiful city in Far North Queensland. Year-long outdoor living and easy access to islands and the Great Barrier Reef make Cairns ideal for anyone seeking a tropical lifestyle.

QXR is proud to serve the Cairns region in multiple sites with local Radiologists and a team of specialist Nuclear Medicine Physicians across the State.
