Branch Administrator- Alice Springs

About the business and the role

Northline is one of Australia's leading transport and logistics providers who operates in all supply chain sectors and employs approximately 550 staff nationally. With a team dedicated to achieving the organisation's goals through commitment, consistency and valuing individual contribution, there is an exciting opportunity for a Branch Administrator to join the Alice Spring's Depot, NT.

The successful applicant will have strong management skills and ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently and effectively. This full time position will require you to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from approximately 8am – 5pm and will report to the Branch Manager. You will need to be self driven with the ability to lead and mentor staff to meet the challenging requirements of the business.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the administration function for the Branch;
  • Liaise closely with the Branch Manager to provide support and analytical statistics on a daily and weekly basis;
  • Compiling and analysing key performance indicators;
  • Preparation of reports;
  • Data entry;
  • Accounting information for the depot;
  • Ensure staff adhere to all company policies, procedures and processes;
  • Enforce full compliance regarding occupational health and safety; and
  • Collation of payroll data.

Skills and experience

  • Experience working as an Administration Manager;
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting and administration functions;
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry);
  • Outstanding time management skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders in the business, and
  • Good influencing and negotiating skills to achieve the best result.

Prior experience in a similar role in the transport/manufacturing industry will be seen as an advantage.
