Quality Systems Coordinator

About the role 

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of quality initiatives to meet business, customer and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Establishing internal audit program and best practice reviews to drive continuous improvement in quality performance;
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to the quality system across the site;
  • Establishing and coordinating a management review process to meet regulatory, customer and Company requirements;
  • Conducting investigations and root cause analysis to prevent the reoccurrence of quality incidents; and
  • Providing leadership, coaching and support for to ensure consistent application of quality standards and expectations.

About you

You will be an experienced and passionate Quality Systems Coordinator, proactive in your approach and eager to hit the ground running. Additionally, you will have:

  • Completed a tertiary qualification in either Quality Assurance, Food Science or a related discipline; 
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a FMCG is highly regarded;
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, auditing and quality system frameworks;
  • Understanding of RCA, NCR and complaint management processes;
  • Understanding of Australian import and export legislation, South East Asia importing country requirements, ACCC requirements and application, and exposure to USFDA requirements;
  • Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands across a range of activities; and
  • Strong commercial acumen.
