Senior Project Engineer (Multiple Positions)

About the opportunity  

RPV, MTIA is seeking to engage Senior Project Engineers. Reporting to the Project Managers, these roles will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the $1 billion Rail Infrastructure Alliance (RIA), which forms part of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project (MTP). The RIA works package includes works on the proposed Sunbury-Dandenong train line to maximise the benefits of the MTP.

The Senior Project Engineers will use their prior experience to assist with coordination of the project scope, approvals, design development, program development, contracts development and construction activities. The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is fundamental for success in this role.

About you

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have experience across:

•       Demonstrated knowledge and experience of implementing best practice safety management processes and procedures, ensuring that the management of safety is paramount and maintaining a ‘safety first' culture.

•       Proven ability to provide considered advice and recommendations to management on issues arising from and impacting projects, identification and analysis of construction options, feasibility and costs, including the identification and mitigation of project risks.

•       Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders, including project team members, contractors, consultants and multiple government and statutory bodies.
