Quality Assurance Supervisor

About the role 

This is a crucial role responsible for driving best in class food safety and quality frameworks, developing our strong quality culture.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Establishing key frameworks to ensure quality expectations are met across the site;
  • Participating in internal audits;
  • Managing and driving continuous improvement across the site;
  • Conducting robust investigation after quality incidents to prevent re-occurrence; and
  • Mentoring and coaching the site to ensure quality standards are at the forefront.

About you

You will be an experienced and passionate Quality Systems Coordinator, proactive in your approach and eager to hit the ground running. Additionally, you will have:

  • Completed a tertiary qualification in either Quality Assurance, Food Science or a related discipline; 
  • Minimum of 5 years in a Quality Assurance role within a FMCG;
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, auditing and quality system frameworks;
  • Understanding of RCA, NCR and complaint management processes;
  • External audit experience and sound knowledge of GFSI SQF/BRC, CFMSR, WQA, FSC and similar standards;
  • Understanding of Australian import and export legislation, South East Asia importing country requirements;
  • Ability to manage and prioritise competing demands across a range of activities; and
  • Strong commercial acumen.
