Digital Engineering Asset Manager

About the opportunity  

The Digital Engineering Asset Manager sits within the project's System Integration Group. This role will drive the management of digital engineering data as an asset across the project lifecycle of Rail Projects Victoria projects including Metro Tunnel Project, Regional Rail Revival and the future Melbourne Airport Rail Link.

Reporting to the Deputy Director Engineering and Assurance, this role will support operational readiness through the development and implementation of a comprehensive industry leading suite of asset data requirements, an asset tagging strategy and an asset breakdown structure for all rail related asset classes in partnership with key stakeholders including Transport for Victoria, Public Transport Victoria and Rail Operators. Furthermore, this role will actively manage digital engineering data, asset data and traditional drawings management system completions submissions to Rail Projects Victoria, Public Transport Victoria and Rail Transport Operators.

The Digital Engineering Asset Manager will provide senior leadership and specialist guidance on digital engineering asset management frameworks, processes and systems, throughout the project lifecycle.

About you

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have experience across:

•       Demonstrated experience in the establishment and management of digital engineering processes for the management of digital engineering data as an asset across the project lifecycle utilising best practice digital workflows and automation.

•       Demonstrated experience in digital engineering asset management systems.

•       Demonstrated experience in asset information model production with embedded or linked data sufficient to satisfy the operational and maintenance information requirements to support a digital asset management system.
