Guest Services Officer - Full Time

Reflections Holiday Parks is undergoing rapid growth as we look to transform our portfolio of holiday parks into places that inspire all who visit.  As the only group of holiday parks who also maintain public recreation reserves, our focus is on providing exceptional visitor experiences. Surpluses generated by Reflections Holiday Parks are used to directly support and revitalise the Group’s holiday parks and surrounding Crown land reserves to ensure that visitors and local communities can enjoy these precious community assets for generations to come.  It is an exciting time to come on board as we look to future proof the business and build awareness of our new brand.

As part of a wider group of 37 holiday parks in sensational NSW locations, Wyangala Waters Holiday Park is a popular inland destination which promises an escape from the rush of daily life and a chance to relax in unspoiled surrounds. 

The Role

This opportunity is for an experienced Guest Services Officer. This role is a critical part of our wider mission to provide exceptional experiences through exceptional service. This role will work across a 7 day per week operation which includes weekend and public holiday work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a high standard of friendly and welcoming customer service, the areas of responsibility for this role include:

  • Provide exceptional customer service including liaising with guests face to face and via telephone.
  • Guest check-in and management of the property PMS - Newbook
  • Undertake general office duties, banking and cleaning of office/kiosk
  • Assist Park Manager and Supervisors with the opening and closing of office and kiosk/store
  • Receiving and dispensing of monies via computerised point of sale register
  • Assist supervisor with stock take and invoicing for kiosk, store, cabin, office and cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Preparation and cooking of food
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
  • Assist with fuel sales as applicable
  • Follow work health and safety procedures; identifying hazards and assessing and controlling safety risks
  • Have the right to work in Australia and can provide evidence of this.

The successful applicant will be subject to a National Criminal History Check and a Pre- Employment Medical Assessment including Functional Capacity.

As this is a child related position you will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance as a condition of employment. For more information, visit the Office of the Children’s Guardian website
