Clinical Trial Research Assistant - Fixed Part Time until June 2020

  • Fixed Term Part Time until June 2020 opportunity to join our Dementia Centre team in Melbourne, VIC

About the role

The role of Clinical Trial Research Assistant works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to support the efficient implementation and operating of trials within the unit.

The essence of this role:

  • Support the delivery of clinical trials
  • Undertake key trial activities including screening and monitoring
  • Documentation and management of information

 

About you

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • Science (Hons) or Nursing Degree (previous aged psychiatry research will be looked at preferentially)
  • Previous clinical trial experience
  • Willingness to undergo IATA and, venepuncture training as required.
  • Strong understanding of GCP, Regulatory and Ethics requirements, as demonstrated by relevant experience in the Clinical Research environment.
  • Able to confidently use all Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
  • Strong administrative and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and patience.
