About the role

The Clinical Research Assistant works closely with the Principal Investigators, Co-investigators, the National Research Team and all associated research staff and site staff to co-ordinate and support clinical trial research. The role will have a specialised focus on the supporting the clinical trials team in various research projects across the GenesisCare network.

The role will drive robust research governance processes, support and increase recruitment of patients to clinical trials and focus on the growth of new clinical research programs. The role will be required to support research endeavours across GenesisCare helping to foster, grow and harmonise the research culture across the practice aligned with GenesisCare's national research vision.

Skills and experience

Key areas for the role:

Key Result Areas / Key Performance Indicators:

  1. Ability to be proactive, anticipate needs and action accordingly
  2. Attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work
  3. Ability to organise/prioritise work in and around other people's deadlines and workloads and conflicting priorities
  4. Bring a positive, enthusiastic and 'can-do' attitude to work
  5. Develop and maintain professional working relationships
  6. Resonate with the high performance GenesisCare culture
  7. Take a partnering approach with managers and stakeholders

Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in nursing or a related health or scientific field
  • Background in Radiotherapy planning would be advantageous
  • Experience in patient coordination/scheduling
  • Proven experience to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team.
